Bold ornate florals, celestial sparkles, henna inspired, and dotwork.
As a queer, trans, biracial tattooer, Ricky seeks to provide an affirming experience for clients from all backgrounds, especially LGBTPOC clients. Drawing on their Indo-Trinidadian heritage, Ricky’s work is inspired by henna motifs, textiles and Trajva tattoos. Their favorite subjects include bold, ornamental florals, celestial sparkles, magic and the occult, snakes, butterflies, and dotwork.
Ricky is open to tattoo flash as well as custom designs of any size. Currently, they’re especially interested in large, multi-session projects, and projects that give them the opportunity to freehand their designs. Henna and Trajva inspired dotwork designs are only available to other people of color.
Outside the studio, Ricky can be found smoking at the park with friends or binging Real Housewives with their three weird gay cats. They enjoy long walks on the beach, gluten-free treats, and anything that glitters.
